It was reported last week that Bayern Munich were optimistic as they entered new contract talks with Alphonso Davies and his agent.

However, with Davies' agent set to leave Munich on Friday, Bild reports that the parties have yet to reach an agreement.

The sticking point remains Davies' salary, with the gap between the two sides believed to be between €8-10 million over the four-year period of the deal under discussion.

It remains to be seen whether the Bavarians will improve their offer - if they do not, they run the risk of Davies agreeing terms with another club, such as Real Madrid.

Davies is under contract until the summer, meaning he's free to negotiate a move to another club as a free agent.

As well as Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United are all believed to be monitoring the Canadian international's situation.
