VfL Bochum showed great mentality as they fought back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 with RB Leipzig on Saturday.

Dutch striker Myron Boadu, making his fifth Bundesliga start of the season, stole the show for the home side by scoring all his side's three goals.

Naturally, he was a satisfied man after the match.

"I am very happy. I've never experienced fans like this before. You want to do everything to give them a good weekend and a good week," Boadu told Kicker, adding:

“You can never write Bochum off.”

Bochum coach Dieter Hecking recently criticized Boadu in public, demanding more from him - and was pleased to see the Dutchman respond with his feet.

"He gave the right answers today," said Hecking.

“I wasn't quite sure how far along he was. He's not a world champion when it comes to training, but when he works like he did today, it's very important for us. It was great seeing how hard the whole team worked in the second half."
