Reports emerged on Monday that Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr had opened negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen to sign Victor Boniface - and it looks like there is a real chance the move could go through.

The Nigerian striker missed the German champions' training session on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday's Champions League clash with Sparta Prague because he's "in talks about his future", Bayer 04 told Sky Germany.

It's been suggested that Leverkusen are demanding a fee in excess of €50 million for Boniface, who may already have agreed personal terms with Al Nassr.

The 24-year-old joined Bayer 04 for a reported fee of €22 million from Belgian side Union SG in 2023.

Since then, he has found the net 29 times in 49 games.
