Bremen confirm Grüll's unavailability against Gladbach, Njinmah may return to starting XI
SV Werder Bremen have officially confirmed that Austrian attacker Marco Grüll will be unavailable for Sunday's league fixture against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
SV trainer Ole Werner possesses an ideal replacement for Grüll in his starting XI, but it remains to be seen if young German attacker Justin Njinmah is yet fit enough to start.

SV Werder Bremens DFB Pokal victory over SC Paderborn 07 last night came with a cost. Austrian attacker Marco Grüll - who had recently been coming into his own as part of head-coach Ole Werner's attack - had to be subbed off in the 44th minute with a thigh injury. On Thursday, Bremen confirmed that the 26-year-old would not be available for Sunday's league encounter away at Gladbach.
The new summer signing himself needed time to crack the starting XI and find his form in the Bundesliga. Grüll ultimately benefitted from an injury to German attacker Justin Njinmah, who happened to be the one who replaced him in Wednesday's victory. Whether or not Njinmah is fit enough to feature as a starter for Werner yet remains to be seen.
