Borussia Dortmund have grown increasingly hesitant regarding their interest in VfB Stuttgart’s Enzo Millot, L’Equipe reports.

For a lengthy period of time, Millot was linked with a move to the Ruhrpott giants; but the ground may have shifted since.

Millot began the season in red-hot form, but this consistency has faded in recent weeks.

The Frenchman’s last appearance in Sebastian Hoeness’ starting lineup came in the 2-1 defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach back on February 1st.

Stuttgart’s head coach seems to favour the likes of Chris Fuhrich, Jamie Leweling and Jakob Bruun-Larsen instead.

BVB’s doubts reportedly stem from the 22-year-old’s past disciplinary misconduct including several cases where he arrived late for Stuttgart training.

Although Dortmund noticed an improvement in Millot’s behaviour and professionalism, questions remain if he can change the doubters’ opinions.

The attacking midfielder is under contract at the Swabian club until 2028.
