Borussia Dortmund were first linked with a move for Marcus Rashford by The Athletic earlier this month, but their interest was quickly downplayed amid suggestions that the striker's wages were too high.

However, according to Bild, Dortmund's interest in the 27-year-old has not waned, with the German tabloid claiming that he remains a serious option for the Black and Yellows, despite the hefty financial package that would be required to sign him.

Dortmund are said to have held talks with the Manchester United forward, while Juventus and AC Milan are also understood to have made inquiries.

The Black and Yellows recently sold Donyell Malen to Aston Villa and could bring in the England international as a replacement for the Dutchman.
