SSC Napoli and Borussia Dortmund are in talks over the transfer of Karim Adeyemi, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian transfer market insider claims that a deal worth €45-50 million is being discussed, with Napoli also in talks with the player's management.

Should Adeyemi leave, a replacement is likely to be brought in, especially as Dortmund have already offloaded one winger in the form of Donyell Malen, who has joined Aston Villa.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Brentford's Kevin Schade has been identified as BVB's top target should they need to bring in a replacement.

Schade left Freiburg to join Brentford in 2023 for a reported fee of €25 million. The Germany international has made 27 appearances this season, scoring six goals and providing three assists.
