Eintracht Frankfurt may be seeing two departures from their club this summer, as Hugo Ekitiké and Hugo Larsson, both of whom have been signed until 2029, are expected to leave Deutsche Bank Park for other teams in the major European leagues.

The Frankfurt board knows that the 22-year-old Ekitiké, who was signed on a permanent deal from Paris Saint-Germain for €16,5 million following a prior loan deal, will likely be leaving in the summer, given the interest from major clubs in the Premier League, such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Newcastle United.

According to Sky Sport's Florian Plettenberg, in Monday's episode of ‘Transfer Update - die Show’, “[Frankfurt] are almost 99% certain that Ekitiké will be leaving the club in summer, as there is concrete interest from various top clubs”.

Frankfurt are valuing a transfer for the French international talent at €80 million, thus meaning that the club profit by almost €65 million. It is also double his current market value, which is €40 million, according to Transfermarkt.

Meanwhile, 20-year-old Larsson, who was signed from Swedish club Malmö FF for a €9 million fee in 2023, is expected to be leaving the club for a profit of just over €50 million, with the number currently being proposed being in the range of € 60 million, according to Sky. Larsson's current market value is just over half of the listed price, at €35 million.

Both players are under contract to Frankfurt until 2029, hence the high prices of the two possible transfer fees. Ekitiké has scored 13 times in 23 Bundesliga matches for Frankfurt this season, as a centre-forward. Larsson has played 23 times, primarily at central midfield, and scored on three occasions.
