Timo Horn filled in for Patrick Drewes last week after the latter was ruled out of the match against Borussia Dortmund due to illness.

The former FC Köln goalkeeper made the most of his opportunity, helping Bochum to a clean sheet in a 2-0 win, leading to speculation that he could remain in goal.

Now, Bochum coach Dieter Hecking has confirmed that Horn will retain his starting berth for Saturday's trip to Wolfsburg.

"Timo Horn will play," Hecking revealed at a press conference on Thursday.

“He did well against Dortmund, the team made a good impression with him on the pitch. He deserves it. He's been very consistent in training over the past few weeks.”

Horn, 31, joined Bochum from RB Salzburg last summer.
