TSG Hoffenheim picked up a much-needed win at the weekend, beating Holstein Kiel 3-1 away from home to take a step away from the Bundesliga's relegation zone.

The win ended a nine-game winless streak in all competitions for Christian Ilzer's side and provided some respite after veteran striker Andrej Kramaric's criticism of the club following last week's 5-0 defeat to Bayern Munich.

Sitting 26th in the Europa League with six points, Hoffenheim are in dire need of points if they are to secure a place in the play-offs for the next round.

Tottenham, meanwhile, are ninth in the Europa League with 11 points and have their sights set on a top-eight finish.

Having lost to Arsenal and most recently Everton, Ante Postecoglou's men will be keen to get back to winning ways.

Hoffenheim will be without Ihlas Bebou (knee), Marius Bülter (thigh), Ozan Kabak (knee), Christian Lenz (calf), Gift Orban (ineligible), Grischa Prömel (knee), Diadie Samassekou (thigh), Umut Tohumcu (ankle) and Erencan Yardımcı (ineligible).

Tottenham's injury list contains Rodrigo Bentancur (concussion), Brennan Johnson (leg), Antonin Kinsky (ineligible), Cristian Romero (thigh), Dominik Solanke (knee), Destiny Udogie (thigh), Micky van de Ven (thigh), Guglielmo Vicario (ankle) and Timo Werner (thigh).
