Fresh from an impressive 7-0 thrashing of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Germany will go into Tuesday's away game against Hungary full of confidence.

The two sides last met in September, and the memory of that game shouldn't give the Germans any less confidence, as they won 5-0.

In general, Germany have been in impressive form throughout their UEFA Nations League campaign, and their victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina secured first place in Group A3 with 13 points from five games.

Hungary, on the other hand, have no chance of progressing after a 4-0 defeat at the hands of the Netherlands on Saturday.

With the game having no bearing on his team's position in the group, Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann is expected to rotate heavily.

Having already confirmed that Alexander Nübel will start in goal at the expense of Oliver Baumann, Nagelsmann could bring in Nico Schlotterbeck at centre-back in place of the suspended Jonathan Tah.

Captain Joshua Kimmich picked up a knock against Bosnia-Herzegovina, and although he played it down after the game, he could get a rest, with Benjamin Henrichs ready to step in at right-back.

Robin Gosens, Felix Nmecha, Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sané are also among those who could start, depending on how many changes Nagelsmann wants to make.

Hungary did not suffer any fresh injuries against the Netherlands and will welcome back veteran defender Atila Fiola from suspension.
