When Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann names his squad for the upcoming UEFA Nations League quarter-final against Italy, there will be at least one potential debutant.

According to Sky Germany, Inter's Yann Bisseck will be handed his first senior call-up.

The 24-year-old defender has represented Germany at youth level and has made eight appearances for the Under-21s.

Bisseck has established himself as a starter for Inter since joining the club from Danish side AGF in the summer of 2023.

The centre-back has made 29 appearances this season, scoring one goal and providing three assists.

Bild reported on Wednesday that Mainz's Nadiem Amiri and Bayern Munich's Leroy Sané will also be part of the squad.
