Pressure is mounting on Borussia Dortmund coach Nuri Sahin after a 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim extended his side's winless run to four games and dropped them to eighth in the Bundesliga table.

However, according to local publication Ruhr Nachrichten, Sahin isn't in any danger of losing his job for the time being, as those in charge still believe he can steady the ship.

Sahin's relationship with sporting director Sebastian Kehl and managing director for sport Lars Ricken is said to be intact, but he needs to deliver results to keep his job.

Dortmund's minimum target for the season is Champions League qualification, but they currently sit eighth in the table, five points behind fourth-placed RB Leipzig.

Sahin took over as Borussia Dortmund coach last summer, replacing Edin Terzic.
