RB Leipzig sporting director Marcel Schäfer has guaranteed that Marco Rose will remain RB head-coach for at least one more match.

For the second consecutive week, RB Leipzig sporting director Marcel Schäfer found himself in the position of having to speak of the desire for "joint solutions" with the current RB coaching regime headed by Marco Rose. Speaking to the Sky microphones after Saturday's debacle, Schäfer answered a question about Rose's future directly.

"Yes," Schäfer said when asked if Rose would be on the bench to coach the team in Wednesday's DFB-Pokal fixture against surging Eintracht Frankfurt, "We want to turn things around together. We want to get out of this situation together. He has many years experience and still maintains the 'fire in the belly'."

"I'm convinced [we can turn it around]," Schäfer continued, "I believe that we will find answers together. There's resilience and unity here. It's important to show resilience and unity. It's important to live up to the basics of being a team."
