Just before Christmas, Werder Bremen boss Peter Niemeyer revealed that the club would be looking to ship out Olivier Deman in the January transfer window.

A potential destination for the full-back has now been found, with Werder confirming that Deman will not be available for Sunday's friendly against Dutch side FC Twente as he's in talks with another club.

Deman joined Werder from Cercle Brugge in August 2023 for a reported fee of €4 million.

He has since made 40 appearances for Werder in all competitions. The 24-year-old has featured 11 times in the 2024/25 season, but hasn't started a single game.
