Borussia Dortmund could be tempted to move for Jobe Bellingham in summer, Fichajes reports.

At just 19 years old, the Sunderland midfielder has attracted attention from several European clubs.

From a German perspective another Bundesliga club – RB Leipzig – could pose a threat to BVB for the Englishman’s signature.

However, the Spanish website suggests Die Schwarzgelben are “ahead of the game” when it comes to fending off competition.

One key argument favouring BVB is that Jobe may seek to follow in his older brother’s footsteps.

Jude Bellingham made 92 appearances for the Ruhrpott club where he won the DFB-Pokal and developed into a world-class talent before joining Real Madrid.

Although Jobe’s Sunderland contract runs until 2028, the EFL Championship club could envisage selling him sooner rather than later.
