Germany came from behind in their third Euro 2024 match on Sunday evening, with a 1-1 draw against Switzerland proving to be enough to advance as Group A winners.

A well-drilled and determined Switzerland opened the scoring in the 28th-minute. Remo Freuler's cross was steered to the net by Dan Ndoye who held off the attention of Jonathan Tah.

Germany struggled at times but a 92nd-minute leveller from Niclas Füllkrug, who latched onto David Raum's delivery, headed Die Mannschaft towards parity.

Below you'll find the Bulinews.com player ratings for the Germany players on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best:

Manuel Neuer - 8/10

Stood no chance at preventing the Dan Ndoye goal. Otherwise, the veteran shot-stopper kept composure and repelled a venomous late strike from Granit Xhaka.

Joshua Kimmich - 7/10

The right-back was tenacious in the tackle and offered his services down the flank all evening when Die Mannschaft went on the attack.

Antonio Rüdiger - 7/10

Kept a level of poise in defence on what was a difficult test against a threatening Swiss offence. Breel Embolo lived off scraps.

Jonathan Tah - 5/10

A shaky night for the Leverkusen man. His yellow card for a high foot means he will be suspended for the Round of 16 tie. He was first to be replaced by Julian Nagelsmann.

Maximilian Mittelstädt - 5/10

A slightly harsh rating, but the left-back didn't impose himself on the action as much as he did against Hungary. All part of the learning curve.

Robert Andrich - 6/10

Combative as ever and did well given the impossible task of shutting down Leverkusen teammate Granit Xhaka. Made way for Beier after the hour mark as Germany sought parity.

Toni Kroos - 6/10

Didn't conduct the orchestra quite as much as he would have liked, but went about his duties and kept Germany pushing forward as they hunted the equaliser.

Jamal Musiala - 6/10

A quiet evening by his lofty standards. Still looked to get on lots of ball and make things happen before he was withdrawn. Unlucky to be penalised for Andrich's disallowed goal.

Ilkay Gündogan - 6/10

The captain looked to probe balls in behind the Swiss rearguard with mixed outcomes. Looked a bit leggy late in the match but powered on.

Florian Wirtz - 5/10

Received a lot of close attention from Swiss players who often doubled up on the youngster. As a result, it was difficult for Wirtz to leave his stamp on the action.

Kai Havertz - 5/10

It was a quiet night for the man leading the line. Struggled to cope with the physicality of Akanji and Schär. Almost bagged an 85th-minute goal as the cross met his shoulder, but the crossbar denied him.

Substitutes:

Niclas Füllkrug - 8/10

Stayed out of build-up play but made the solitary cross that came his way count. A brilliantly guided header left Sommer stranded. With 7 goals in 13 substitute appearances, Germany have a super-sub on their hands.

David Raum - 7/10

Took over from Mittelstädt on the left and looked keen to make an impact. His delightful cross provided the assist for Füllkrug.

Leroy Sané - 5/10

Sloppy in possession at times, but his pace and close-control dribbling should continue to pose difficulties for his markers going forward.

Nico Schlotterbeck - 6/10

Replaced the yellow-carded Tah and never put a foot out of line. Should partner Rüdiger in the Round of Sixteen with Tah suspended.

Maximilian Beier - 6/10

His speed and hunger proved to be a handful. Could have won a potential penalty for his side but referee Daniele Orsato waved appeals away. A solid tournament debut.
