For the second game in a row, Jonas Wind made a scoring impact off the bench, scoring a brace to lead Wolfsburg to a 4-3 win over Mainz on Sunday.

Wind has made it clear that he's not happy with his role and that he feels he deserves to start.

However, the reality is that the Denmark international hasn't started a game for Wolfsburg since a 0-0 draw with St. Pauli on 26 October.

Commenting on another impressive cameo from Wind, Wolfsburg coach Ralph Hasenhüttl said:

“The rate at which he scores from the bench is unbelievable. He doesn't need much time to score.

"It's important that the team has Jonas when they need him most.

"I think it made the difference today, that we can still bring on players like that with three games played within a week and a rested opponent coming to you.

"You need that kind of quality on the bench. That was the deciding factor for me.”
