Bayern Munich fell to a frustrating 1-2 defeat to Inter in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday.

Nevertheless, Konrad Laimer remains confident that Bayern can turn the tie around when they travel to Milan next week.

“It’s frustrating, but it’s half-time. I think this game had more on offer. Over long phases of the game we did a lot right, but we knew Inter were a good team and they were ice cold in converting their chances. A huge game awaits next Wednesday," the versatile Bayern defender told Prime Video after the game.

"I think we can beat anyone. We’ve got enough quality and enough ways of doing damage against any team. We just have to show that on the pitch. Games like this are decided by details; we saw tonight just how quickly things can change. We have enough in us to win the second leg."
