RB Leipzig
Leipzig played out a 0-0 draw down south against Freiburg last time out, in a clash featuring missed chances for both sides.
Die Roten Bullen's form in the final third has been inconsistent recently, with Marco Rose's side failing to score in four of their last eight encounters.
However Rose will be looking to avoid a second defeat at the hands of his former club this campaign after BVB triumphed against Leipzig in November.
Leipzig have won three, drawn six and lost three of their last 12 across all competitions, however defeat to Mainz in their last home game aside, their home form has been positive.
Leipzig have won five, drawn two and lost just one of their last eight on home soil.
Team News
Forzan Assan Ouedraogo, Kevin Kampl and Xaver Schlager will all miss this weekend's fixture, whilst Antonio Nusa is also sidelined alongside Benjamin Henrichs who will miss the remaining months of the campaign.
Borussia Dortmund
Dortmund bounced back from last weekend's defeat against Augsburg by securing a place in the Champions League quarter-finals after overcoming French side Lille.
Head coach Niko Kovac has overseen three wins out of six in the Bundesliga since taking over in February, managing the same amount that BVB had won in the 11 Bundesliga matches prior to his arrival.
Die Schwarzgelben have also been strong on the road, having emerged as victors in four of their last five.
To save what has been a dismal season for the club however, a winning run must come soon if the ambitions of Champions League football are to be matched.
Team News
Kovac is unable to select January arrival Daniel Svensson alongside midfielder Felix Nmecha.
Marcel Sabitzer and Pascal Groß are likely to be the midfield pairing for Dortmund.
