Last week, Sport Bild revealed that Serhou Guirassy has a release clause in his contract with Borussia Dortmund and that it can only be activated by a limited group of top-tier clubs.

Now, Sky Germany has provided more clarity on the specifics. According to the German media outlet outlet, the clause can only be triggered by Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, and Arsenal.

The fee is reported to range between €60 and €75 million, depending on the buying club and the competition in which they play.

Despite the clause, a transfer this summer currently appears unlikely. Sky Germany reports that Guirassy is not currently considering a move and greatly appreciates Dortmund for completing his transfer last summer - even after a knee injury was discovered during his medical.

The 29-year-old striker joined Dortmund from VfB Stuttgart last summer summer for €18 million, also via a release clause.

Since then, he has repaid the faith the club showed in him, racking up 29 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances.
