After initially playing for PSV on a season-long loan, Malik Tillman joined the Eredivisie side permanently for €12 million last summer.

According to reports, Bayern have a buyback clause of €35 million for the summer of 2026 - and Tillman makes no secret of the fact that he could see himself returning to the Bundesliga giants.

"Obviously I can't comment on the figures, they're not that important to me! But I don't want to make a secret of it: A return to Bayern is still a dream and a big goal for me," he told Bild.

Tillman caused a bit of a stir last month when he revealed he had no say in joining PSV permanently.

Clarifying his comments, he insists that he didn't mean to say that he didn't want to join PSV on a permanent basis.

“A lot of people took the statement that way. But that's not what I meant at all. I was just trying to explain how the transfer came about. And that was just between the clubs - without me being asked about my feelings or wishes. That was the only thing that surprised me,” said Tillman.

“But I'm not complaining, quite the opposite. I knew the contract I had signed and what could happen. Of course I would have been happy if Bayern had taken me back, they're a world-class club. But I'm also very happy with the move to Eindhoven. I have a very good, familiar environment here that supports me 100 per cent and encourages me to continue to grow.”

He went on to stress that he's not angry with Bayern.

“No. I am very grateful to Bayern. I was able to spend eight years at this great club and learn so much in my youth. They also gave me the opportunity to take my first steps in professional football - and incredible experiences that are still unbelievable to me today.”

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has scored 15 goals and provided 19 assists in 56 matches for PSV in total.
