Sky’s Florian Plettenberg reports Serie A giants AS Roma are looking to sign 18-year-old center-back Noahkai Banks from Augsburg. The US U20 international was also on the Giallorossi’s wishlist during the winter transfer market.

Banks only made his first-team debut when Augsburg lost to Stuttgart on the opening matchday of the Rückrunde. Since then, Augsburg are unbeaten in the five matches he appeared in the league.

The Hawaii-born defender caught headlines when he started playing for Augsburg’s U17 team by the age of 14. As per Sky, his current market value exceeds €10 million. After seeing no action in Augsburg’s last three Bundesliga encounters, he hopes to feature in today’s game at the iconic Signal Iduna Park.
