Having missed Bayer Leverkusen's 3-0 Champions League last-16 defeat to Bayern Munich on Wednesday through illness, Robert Andrich remains unavailable for Saturday's Bundesliga game against Werder Bremen.

When asked if Andrich is back, Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso told a press conference on Friday:

“Not yet, unfortunately. He still has the flu and doesn't feel well enough for tomorrow."

The Spaniard went on to confirm that Die Werkself have no new injury concerns heading into Saturday's game.

Having shaken off the initial disappointment following Wednesday's defeat, Alonso's men are ready to move on.

“The atmosphere today is better than yesterday. We've talked about everything, we have to be professional and concentrate on the next game. The best way to prepare for a good game is to have a good feeling,” Xabi Alonso said.

“It is our normal dynamic to play several games a week. We have to be professional and go full throttle in every game. That goes for tomorrow too.”
