Further tests have revealed that the muscle injury Alphonso Davies suffered in Bayern Munich's 3-0 defeat to Feyenoord on Wednesday is worse than first thought.

That's according to Bild, who reports that the Canada international is now expected to be sidelined for four to six weeks.

Bild initially published a report stating that Davies was expected to be sidelined for just around two weeks.

The injury comes as a blow to Bayern, with Davies having started all but three of the club's games in all competitions this season.

Raphael Guerreiro is in line to start at left-back in the absence of the Canada international.
