Fantasy Bundesliga tips: 10 players to consider for Matchday 6
Mitchell Weiser | Gert Zander CC-BY-SA 3.0 |
In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Florian Wirtz and Harry Kane.
Instead, we will highlight players with a maximum ownership percentage of 20%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 6.
Yan Couto, Dortmund (Defender, 12M, 0%)
Dortmund's summer signing has started the last two games and is expected to retain his place this weekend. An attacking full-back, Couto could be heavily involved against a Union side, who are expected to defend deep.
Mitchell Weiser, Werder Bremen (Defender, 13M, 12%)
Weiser actually started in an attacking midfield role against Hoffenheim last week, and it looks like he will be playing there again against Freiburg. He was already an attractive option as a wing-back, and his new role has only added to his appeal.
Maximilian Mittelstädt, Stuttgart (Defender, 17M, 5%)
Coming off two big hauls, Mittelstädt will now be unleashed against defensively vulnerable Hoffenheim in a game Stuttgart are heavily backed to win.
Jamie Gittens, Dortmund (Midfielder, 10M, 7%)
With Adeyemi out injured, Gittens looks set to start for Dortmund against Union Berlin. Union have looked quite solid at the back this season, but at the same time Dortmund have been scoring freely of late, finding the net 11 times in their last two games. All in all, 10 million doesn't seem like a high price to pay for Gittens, who has four goals and two assists to his name already this season.
Nadiem Amiri, Mainz (Midfielder, 13M, 2%)
After his unforgivable red card against Augsburg, Amiri has a point to prove for Mainz, who are desperate for a result against St. Pauli. Pulling the strings in midfield, Amiri is involved in just about everything Mainz do, and he could be in for a big game this weekend.
Granit Xhaka, Leverkusen (Midfielder, 15M, 12%)
In a week when it's hard to predict who will start for Leverkusen, Xhaka seems to be one of the most certain starters. Xhaka usually plays every minute, Exequiel Palacios is expected to start and Xabi Alonso is unlikely to make two changes in central midfield.
Kevin Stöger, Gladbach (Midfielder, 15M, 7%)
Also available for 15 million, Stoeger has been reliable this season and is a good bet against an Augsburg side who have lost their last two matches.
Elias Saad, St. Pauli (Striker, 5M, 0%)
Coming off the back of a brace against Freiburg, Saad will be looking to continue his fine form against Mainz.
Jonas Wind, Wolfsburg (Striker, 11M, 0%)
The Danish striker returned to the Wolfsburg starting lineup last time out and showed why he deserved to be there, scoring 264 points. Wolfsburg now have a game against defensively fragile Bochum, which could mean another productive game for Wind.
Ermedin Demirovic, Stuttgart (Striker, 12M, 3%)
Stuttgart's impressive attack could be in for a treat against defensively fragile Hoffenheim, with Demirovic and Undav both great picks this week. Demirovic costs one million less and has much lower ownership, making him a great differential.
