Leweling still not feeling at his best after returning from injury

Jamie Leweling made his first start since suffering a hamstring injury in November as VfB Stuttgart beat Freiburg 4-0 at the weekend.

Getting back into the starting line-up was a big step forward for the winger, who says he feels at “85 percent”.

“I’m not quite back to full fitness yet," Leweling told reporters ahead of Stuttgart's Champions League clash with Slovan Bratislava.

“I was very happy to be back in the starting eleven. Three games, three wins - hopefully we can keep that up,” he continued.

Whether Leweling will retain his place in the starting line-up against Slovan Bratislava will be revealed on Tuesday evening.
