Having scored 19 goals in 14 Bundesliga appearances so far this season, TSG Hoffenheim are said to be in the market for a new striker - and they may already have found one.

According to Relevo and Fabrizio Romano, the Sinsheim side are in advanced talks to sign Gift Orban from Olympique Lyon.

Sky Germany is also reporting on the interest, stating that the 22-year-old is "high on the list" at the Bundesliga club.

It is unclear at this stage whether a loan or permanent move is being discussed.

After finding the net an impressive 32 times in 52 appearances for Gent, Orban joined Lyon for a reported €14 million in January.

The Nigerian forward has struggled to make the desired impact in France and hasn't featured for Lyon since early November.
